ADVISORY TEAM

 

The Advisory Team is a unique resource of 4 highly qualified professionals who are all ordained ministers serving in very unique “callings”.   The Advisory Team represents a “younger” generation’s perspective and all are highly successful in reaching out effectively to all ages, especially the “younger generations” in our culture.  Each has a very strong faith base, unique educational and professional training, professional business skills, and broad personal experiences and networks that are very valuable to our clients.  Those on the Advisory Team are:  Rev. Ruffin Stepp, Rev. Andrew Stepp, Rev. John Stepp, and Rev. Owen Stepp.  

 

 

Rev. William Ruffin Stepp, Associate Pastor of Mission and Family Ministry in Venice Presbyterian Church in Venice, Florida

(Venice Presbyterian Church, an active, vital, dynamic growing Church, had about 1200 members, mostly seniors.  They brought Rev. Ruffin Stepp on staff to attract young couples and build the children, youth and family ministries, and he has excelled while also having a vital ministry to all age groups and the mission program.) 

  

Rev. Ruffin Stepp earned his B.A. in Organizational Communication and Minor in Business Administration at the University of Central Florida and his M.Div. at Fuller Theological Seminary.  Ruffin's leadership skills were honed in the United States Marine Corps as a Non Commissioned Officer earning the coveted title of Aviation Ordnance Marine of the Year in 1995.  He served families of faith in Pennsylvania, California and Florida as Director of Youth Ministries and Minister of Word and Sacrament.  Ruffin is a sought after teacher known for interpreting difficult scriptures and issues in humorous ways everyone can grasp. While overseeing Ministry to Families with Children at Venice Presbyterian Church in Venice, Florida the ministry has grown from 5 individual children to 200+ per month; Ruffin initiated dynamic partnerships with Local, Domestic, and International Christian missions. Ruffin’s passion and training lie in identifying, equipping, and empowering church leadership for sustainable, vibrant, growing future ministry.

 

 

Rev. Andrew Stepp, Associate Pastor of Evangelism and Missions for First Presbyterian Church in Houston, Texas

(First Presbyterian Church, the oldest Church in Houston, is a congregation of about 3,700 members. They are a strong, vibrant, and growing Church with outstanding worship services, ministries, outreach and mission programs.) 

 

Rev. Andrew Stepp serves as the Missions and Evangelism Pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Houston, Texas. His focus is on shaping the vision for the missions ministries and engaging the local church in God’s global will. He earned a Master of Divinity degree from Fuller Theological Seminary and is currently in the final phase of doctoral work. He ministered on the staffs of several large Presbyterian churches in their missions leadership and on the mission field in Brazil. One of his priorities in ministry is empowering lay leaders to discover how God has uniquely wired them to glorify him and be his witnesses to their sphere of influence.   He has been recognized for outstanding leadership and being an exceptional communicator as a preacher and teacher with a pastor's heart that shapes and informs his insightful organizational and great people skills.  

 

Rev. John Stepp, Pastor of Worship Arts for Palm Beach Community Church in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida

(This dynamic contemporary Church incorporates dynamic worship and outreach ministries that have been intentionally embedded into the community that they created.  They use state of the art facilities and technology to have a very modern and effective presence for Christ in Palm Beach Gardens and the greater Palm Beaches.)   

 

John Stepp is at the top of his game in leading and shaping the worship and music ministries of the Church.  He has the gift for building teams of gifted musicians and talented artists who inspire each other, the Church and the community for the glorify God.    

 

 

Rev. Owen Stepp, Minister at Large for East Tennessee Presbytery is preaching and providing leadership training in Churches from the Chattanooga, Tennessee area to the Atlanta, Georgia area and is a Financial Advisor for Prudential Insurance.   

 

Rev. Owen Stepp earned his BA in Religion at Wake Forest University and his M.Div. at Princeton Theological Seminary before studying missional leadership at Fuller Theological Seminary.  He has served as a pastor in churches in Maryland, North Carolina, and Tennessee as well as Northern Ireland.  He has worked with church leaders in more than a dozen countries in mission partnerships. While maintaining his ordained status, Owen currently works as a financial advisor in Atlanta, Georgia, helping people make wise financial choices for their families.  He continues to use his preaching and teaching gifts in many churches in the greater Atlanta area.  Owen’s areas of passion and expertise include building missional vision for local churches, cultivating vibrant small groups and developing international mission partners.
